Where data is transferred outside the EU (Gumroad, GitHub), these companies participate in recognized data transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Cookies
Our website currently uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tools.
MailerLite forms embedded on our site may set functional cookies necessary for form submission. These are not used for tracking purposes.
If we add cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a clear consent mechanism before any non essential cookies are set.
7. Data Retention
- Email subscribers: We retain your email address until you unsubscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active mailing list.
- Purchase records: Gumroad retains transaction records as required by tax and accounting regulations. We do not independently store your payment details.
- Server logs: GitHub Pages server logs are retained according to GitHub's own data retention policies.
- Support emails: If you contact us by email, we retain those messages as long as needed to resolve your request, then delete them within 12 months.
